The Libertyville Patch reports that Bob Dold will not run in the newly configured 9th Congressional District (where is Kenilworth home is located) but in the 10th, where there are more Republicans. The article states that the “bulk of his constituents live in the 10th,” which probably is true. But it also leaves the tradtitional North Shore communties of Wilmette, Winnetka and Kenilworth in the hands of the most liberal Democrat in Congress. Let’s just hope Joel Pollak is willing to take another shot at defeating Schakowsky – with quite a few more conservatives to back him this time.
